Common causes and their fixes

1. A typo when entering the code A single wrong character rejects the code entirely. Fix: copy the code directly from the WhatsApp message and paste it into the gift card field — no manual typing.

2. Entering the code in the wrong field SHEIN has a separate field for Gift Cards and another for discount Coupons. Fix: at checkout, look specifically for the Gift Card field and enter the code there.

3. Order total lower than the card value Some SHEIN cards require the order total to meet or exceed the card's full value. Fix: add items until your order total exceeds the card value, or use a lower-denomination card.

4. Code already used Check your card balance in your SHEIN account. Fix: go to My Account → Gift Cards to see the remaining balance.

5. Outdated app or website An old version of the app sometimes rejects valid codes. Fix: update the SHEIN app and try again.
