Option 1: Gift a specific app from the App Store

- Enter the person's Apple ID email, add a message, and choose a delivery time.
- Complete payment — the person gets a gift notification.
Note: not every app supports direct gifting. Free apps and monthly subscriptions typically don't show this option.
Option 2 (the easiest): an Apple or Google Play card
Buy an Apple card and send the code to the person so they redeem it and choose freely what they want. You don't need their Apple ID, and they pick the app or subscription that suits them.
For Android users: gift a Google Play card the same way.
